The position was in easy walkable access of all attractions
Room sizes small, decor dated. allocation of rooms did not reflect the prices paid.
The location. The roof terrace would have been lovely for breakfast but as it was low season, breakfast was served in another room
The room was not cleaned properly. There was an old hat and a tablet underneath the chair the whole week. The fridge was filthy. There were no glasses, only plastic cups and these were not replaced all week.
Nice room good location, staff could be a bit happier learn to smile
The rooms were fantastic. They have very high ceilings and very "Rome". It is in a fantastic position and the staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We contacted the hotel prior to our stay as we were celebrating a family birthday. The hotel pulled out all the stops and gave us all rooms on the third floor. Ours even had a balcony. There us noise but you are in the middle of Rome!! What do you expect??I have to say though that the double glazing coped admmirably. The hotel does push itself as a four star however I have been fortunate to travel the world and would say ut was a three- three/half at most but do not let this put you off. What ut lacks in a lick of paint more than makes up for in position and the great staff
Nothing, we loved the hotel.
The location of the hotel was fabulous. A stones throw from Termini station and within walkable distance to all the sites. The guys on the front desk were really helpful, especially the older man who was always ready to help out with any queries we had! Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family travelling to Rome!! Breakfast was also very good!
There was a couple of small things like damp on the ceiling, no plug in the bath and you had to hold the shower head but they were minor and did not make our stay any less enjoyable!
The staff were very helpfull in giving directions and booking tours. For a first time visitor that is important.
We were in room 308. The room was great except for one thing...it smelled like mold.We kept our windows open all day to get rid of the strong smell.
Reasonably located for the majority of sight seeing. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace. We had a nice large room. Very little noise from other guests.
Would have liked complementary tea/coffee in the room
All you could eat breakfast. The roof top terrace.
reception staff were unhelpful, 1 in particular. Wrong advice about the Vatican and problem with toilet seat not being reported for fixing.
location and rooms\ местоположение и номера
the most dusty hotel I've ever seen! When we came we found the shower unit uncleaned with some hairs on the bottom and opened shower gels. On the last day 2 hours prior to check-out time (when we had a breakfast) the chambermaid began to prepare our rooms (with opened bags) for next guests/ Самый пыльный отель, который я когда-либо видела.
Location to most sites in Rome
Kitchen staff and housekeeping staff very good. 2 receptionists very helpful and courteous, one receptionist rather surly and prone to impatience.
We found the Hotel Gallia to be excellent and value for money. We were celebrating to major anniversaries during our stay and that staff assisted with a few extra to make our stay "very special". Although the hotel could do with a "paint job" in some areas, it was still clean, comfortable and services were first class, The location is great... around 10-15 mins on foot to the Rail/Metro Station.
We have no complaints...... Hotel Gallia, for the price we paid, was certainly value for money.............well done Booked.net and Gallia Hotel.
Friendly and helpful reception staff Convenient location to Termini & main tourist area
The Hotel Gallia is a small traditional Italian style hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel is excellent and located near a number of good restaurants. The hotel has a rooftop terrace where traditional continental breakfast is served each morning, and you have views across the city. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here and would do again, due to location and value for money.
good location, nice breakfast, clean rooms, beautiful rooftopterrace old fashioned but good
Good central location comfortable rooms and efficient staff.
