the reception team were very helpful and informative - very personable
Room and bathroom was old, breakfast poor
very slow service at breakfast (coffee supply)
The receptionist man was really helpfull!!! Great job!!! They do not disturb you without any specific reason. All the employees do really help the visitors.
It is a little bit old. We stayed 2 days. No cleaning....no change to the towels..rooms are also olds. The bathroom not so good..
Breakfast on the roof terrace
air con didn't work in room during stay in July
Very poor Take it as last choise
Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfasts. Good location with the train station, metro and some of the key sites within easy walking distance.
Good location near to station and metro and walking distance of lots of restaurants. Roof top terrace for breakfast with views over the city
Dark room and air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool.
Breakfast on terrace was very good good. It was very easy to visit the building and churches. Staffs were all helpful. It was near the train station.
I didn't have any hot water at hotel. Room sizes small, decor dated.
Breakfast on the roof terrace was fab , lady waiter was lovely . loved the location also helpful reception staff
Breakfast on the top floor terrace. Good location close to coliseum.
First room we got was great except no WiFi as advertised. We could receive outside the room but not inside. Front desk staff did not believe us. We changed rooms to receive WiFi and unfortunately this room was directly below the terrace, therefore at 7 am each day we were woken up by people dragging chairs across the floor until 10 am!.
We had a nice stay at this hotel. The receptionists were very friendly (e. g. helped us calling a taxi for the airportride). Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom bright, clean and large (and with a window, important!), the shower was a bit too small.
We didn't have much to complain - but the breakfast is, well, not the best. But we dind't expect that, so it was ok for us. The room went out to the street, were the traffice raced day and night - so it was a bit noisy.
Very nice location. Breakfast wasn't the best, but for sure good enough and when the weather allows, it is served on the roof terrace where you have a magnificent view on the Santa Maria Maggiore.
Rooms are a bit old-fashioned and some things are broken, as E.G. my window couldn't close anymore.
People were nice.
Internet signal was weak for wifi. Non-smoking room is defined as a room than you can smoke if you don't want. Someone previous could have smoked in that room - we had to change room in order to find one that didn't have a noticeble smell. Would not go back because of their smoking definition.
Location, comfortable, decent breakfast, friendly, helpful staff.
Defintely not a 4-star. Cigarette burn hole in the bedspread, Quite dated decor which is fine is it is in good condition but it wasn't. Peeling wall paper. Old bed linens. Pricey for the dates we stayed but all hotels were pricey for those dates.
